The Tailwind Back Brace offers additional support to your dogs spine. To ensure optimal dog movement, the dog's spine needs to be strong and there should be a balanced alignment of the discs and vertebrae.
The Dog Back Brace offers your dog's back support and helps with issues such as Intervertebral Disc Disease (IVDD), general back problems and muscle tightness.
The Properties of the Back Brace are the following:
- High quality neoprene which doesn’t cause skin irritation
- A good fit for Spine and muscle support
- An easy to use system to put the brace on and off ( manually tighten the straps)
- Three different sizes for a comfortable experience which offers the right pressure on the spine and muscles (please measure according to our measurement guide/video) to ensure the alternative treatment and stabilisation of the back
- D Ring which can be used as a leash attachment
- Dog is able to do his business while wearing the dog back brace
Should my dog wear a Tailwind Back Brace?
Please be sure to analyse your dogs behaviour to understand if he/she has back problems. The following symptoms could mean that your dog suffers from back problems:
- Arched back
- Paralysis Problems
- Difficulty in urinating normally
- No motivation to walk, inability to walk
- Reluctance to play or run
- Constant shivering
- stiffness
- Crying when picked up ( like something is hurting him/her)

Measurements:
- Please do all measuring while the dog is standing.
- We recommend using a soft measuring tape or string. If you don’t have one, you may use a string and measure it with a ruler later.
- Measure with a snug fit due to the neoprene being stretchable
- Have a look at our size chart (below) and pick the size that fits your measurement.
- If you are unsure about two sizes, it is always best to pick the smaller one.

We offer UPS shipping which takes 1-2 business days once UPS picks up the package. Please note that this is not the total lead time and each product has their own production times. How to return an order from Tailwind?
You have 30 days from the order date to make a return. You can return the product you do not want as long as it is in good condition.
Exchanges with custom made items are on a case by case basis depending on severity of the situation.
Customers must bear the cost of shipping products back to us for either a refund or return. We do not offer return labels so the following information must be followed for us to offer a refund.
